Alice Mayo Shaw, originally from Kentucky, earned her Associate in Arts degree from Fleming College
Ms. Shaw was the official photographer for the Pelican Man's Bird Sanctuary in Sarasota, Florida, from 1993 until her retirement in 2005.
She and her husband, photographer Bruce Shaw, have been visiting Homer, Alaska since 1987. They moved into their house on East End Road in 2007.
Alice's original wildlife drawings are in pencil on Mi-Teintes Canson paper. Her giclee prints are now available in Homer at Picture Alaska art gallery. She hopes you enjoy having a print as much as she enjoyed drawing the originals.
